If I Could Walk This World Poem by Michael J ORourke2

If I Could Walk This World

If I could walk this world a noble man
With princes and kings and dukes and earls
I'd travel to palaces so regal in view
And lay my gifts of sapphires and pearls

But God has laid a different plan
No Magi carrying a treasure trove
But common people would common serve
And bless this act with eternal love
