A Ghost In The Present Poem by Stephanie West

A Ghost In The Present

Hurt me with the truth but never please me with a lie
You're killing me slowly but I'm too young to die
Leave me in the dark where I feel most at home
Leave my head so I have space to roam
You'll never let me live but you'll watch my death
Suck the life out of me until my last breath
A ghost I will be, the remians of a madame
An empty shell but wait, I already am
