A Girl Poem by Lev Brekhman

A Girl

Slight movements of a slender hand -
Just touching a slender earring.
Her life is stretching far ahead,
She is not worried by a thing.
But happiness is never caught,
It flies away on slender wings.
Perhaps it can sometimes be bought,
But what will it the buyer bring?
