Life dances with hope, to the glimpse of your smile,
Creating a halo of a dike to distant miles,
Preventing those unsolicited mountains of woes,
And from harm of those vicious foes.
Your smile gives oceans of reasons, to live and breathe,
towing drowned life back from the verge of death.
The defeat of life was not what you have taught,
but life with defeat was waived and wrought.
Your absence in my life casts shadows over the life of ecstasy,
seizing all my hope, to the realm of mere fantasy.
When your voice reverberates, from the forgone moments,
All I can do is hold my books and pens.
