A Good Dad Poem by Dr John Celes

A Good Dad

I want to give my child the best!
In life, I face many a test;
Affordability is prime;
Problems crop up anew with time.

Good principles, I have to keep;
To copy others, makes me weep;
I cannot fritter hard-earned sums;
Some turn out to be bitter plums!

In righteous roads, I have to walk;
Just words of kindness, I must talk;
Each father has a tedious role;
I should not blindly reach a goal.

The prudent man is daddy good;
Guide every step, our wisdom should;
A pampered child adult bad turns;
A loving dad has to be stern.
