A Good Sorry Poem by Megan Collins

A Good Sorry

Rating: 4.5

Everything’s happening,
life’s beginning to create its random path.
We shall never drift apart, or else call on the naïve, frivolous in us both.
Let’s never forget, but always forgive,
even on the road of rough patches.
Be worthy to deserve me, always,
endlessly kiss and make-up.
Light up everything on the gloomy side,
look up to optimism with beautiful conviction,
laugh to the cynical,
until blue in the face – never stop laughing,
With me,
or without me.
Never fail to remember who you are,
you will always know who your own person is.
Forever hold the memories in your sacred time capsule,
as will I.
Remember to when we scrimmage and riot,
a sorry will never be enough.
I can forever try my hardest with regret,
even though a good sorry, never enough.
