A Grain Of Sand Poem by Frank Avon

A Grain Of Sand

He dwelt for a decade
in the garden of Lambeth
with its vine and fig tree,
'the bright Marygold, '
his upstairs window
looking out to the river Thames,
the chapel built there,
and the mill of Albion.
