A Great Storm Of Pines Poem by douglas lewis

A Great Storm Of Pines

A great storm of pines
That floods the horizon
In a waving tidal of green.
It's layers of boughs
Hanging like clouds
That crowd the shrinking sky.
It's showers of needles
Awash on the darkened floor.
