A Heavy Heart Poem by Jill Henson

A Heavy Heart

Rating: 5.0

How Heavy Is The Heart,
That Longs Both Day And Night,
For True Love To Show Its' Face,
And For That Hearts' Owner To Know That This Love Is Right?

How Heavy Is The Heart,
That Beats All Alone,
The One That Wishes Only,
For Another Heart With Which It Can Share A Home?

How Heavy Is The Heart,
That Secretly Knows It Has Found Its' Other Half,
The One That Can Make It Hurt,
And Cry, And Smile, And Laugh?

How Heavy Is The Heart,
That Can't Tell The Other How It Feels,
That This Heart Knows The Love Is There,
So It Settles For Less And Forces Itself To Deal?

So, How Heavy Is The Heart?
This Is What I Ask,
And Now I Can Tell You,
What I Know To Be A Fact...

This Heart Is All Too Heavy,
Almost To Heavy For Me To Bear,
And There's Only One Way To Fix,
This Heavy Heart That We Have Here...

So Please, Come Take My Hand,
Lead Me Through The Pain And Struggles, And The Fight,
For You Are The The Only Way, The Only Cure,
That Can Make THis Heavy Heart Of Mine Feel Light.
