Oh Grandfather with your spirit in mind…can you do a little favor for me sometime….
Should you see a man from up there in heaven for me, use your best judgement and please guide him to me. Should the man be unready to handle me, please guide me and give me the strength to send him away from me. Because, Grandfather as I recollect of thee…. it's gonna take a hell of man for me…that's the only way it's gotta be, he's gotta have similar qualities as thee. You told me, stand for no foolishness do you hear me….
Oh Grandfather, look at what's happened to me on this here Christmas Eve and what's been shared with me, a most memorable evening filled with Laughter, Light, Happiness and he so reminded me of thee… A boat ride through our Riverwalk, taking in the beauty of the twinkling Christmas lights, a wonderful Stroll and Dance Twirl on a Riverwalk path in addition to the wooden dance floor, engaging in meaningful conversation with me, as the sunset and a moment in time to reflect back on our ranch life as you'd taught me.
Oh dear Grandfather, look what's happened to me and I gotta say…thank you to thee….you guided a Kentucky Cowboy to me, a friend for a moment you placed in my path, made a memory of a lifetime for me but, dear grandfather, as you can see..he is not ready to handle a woman quite like me… Oh this Christmas was truly special to me and I can see, the smile, twinkle & wink of your eye as you tip your hat down from heaven at me.
