A Lady's Eyes Poem by Olumide Omoyele

A Lady's Eyes

Twin windows, beautiful
Gateways to a precious soul
Simple yet capable of
Incredible, varied emotions

The warmth can in a matter
Of a flicker metamorphose
Into fierce rage
Just as capable of sparkling
Like shooting stars as they are of
Producing rivers of tears

Either way, they
Possess immense power
Striking at the very heart
Of the masculine cognizance
