A Lazy Afternoon With You - Poem by Michael P. McParland
I'm bored my sweet one and wish you
were with me to pass the time with,
you take away all boredom that
makes you feel tired and even sad.
Being with you snuggling is what I want
on this lazy Sunday afternoon here.
A lazy day in your arms just feeling
whole and at peace with my divine girl.
This vacation seeing my family has been nice
but I'm ready to leave and I wish it was
with you to be in our own home so quiet
with endless fulfilling peace.
I wish it was with you to spend a
lazy afternoon in each others arms just resting
and knowing life is where we want in so many ways
and we'll keep working in humble step.
I want and crave a lazy afternoon with you
my sweet Angel dove.
So I sit here still feeling tired and bored
and I wish I was here with you to forget
that time even exists at all,
to be with my Queen I deeply adore.
I just want a lazy afternoon snuggling with you
and sharing my heart and soul with you
while you share all you want and need as well.
I just want time with the woman I care for
and I know cares just as much for me,
I want a lazy afternoon with you to smile and talk.
A lazy afternoon with beautiful you
to make our hearts feel so good and while
I look in your eyes say I love you my dear
and give you the sweetest kiss from my heart and soul.
