A Lethal Passion Poem by KRISHNAPRIYA K S

A Lethal Passion

Artful were your ways
Heartful were my days.
So intense in approach
The Tides and the Seismics were outdone.

Tried a hundred remedies
Came out a thousand stronger.
A passion too difficult
To subside by its own.

Though unrequited
Yet unreceding.
If not live by it
I'll die for it.

My lethal passion
You will thrive
Until the divine fire
Devour me someday.
