A Letter To Miriam Poem by Omar Godinez

A Letter To Miriam

You're my heart, my only love,
As well as our son who watches from above.
Never say goodbye,
It may just happen that I'll die.
These days you've been away,
There have been tears rolling down my face.
You make me happy, make me smile,
I hope we last more than a while.

I wish I knew how to show what I feel inside,
I'm sorry for all this time we've had to hide.
Every time I said I love you,
Those three words were always true.
Never to this day have I lied,
Never will while your by my side.
I'm sorry if I've ever made you cry,
I just don't want to see you hurt, thats why.

You make me feel like I can fly,
Your kisses take me to the sky.
I'll admit that to this day I'm still a little shy,
I know that in your mind you're asking why.
Dear Miriam, I have no secrets for my wife,
Your my wife, my only love, let us never ever fight.
