A Little Hand Poem by Alece Woosley

A Little Hand

A little hand,
so week in power,
yet so strong in faith.
Heald for a bow if prayer.
So scared and shy,
but not ready to hide.
She will hold hands so tightly,
until her heart breaks.
That little hand is healed in mine.
She is ready and now so am I.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A girl in my youth group went to camp with me. She was a nervous wreck. I wrote this the last night of camp when we were having a lesson around the bonfire. She was siting next to me and during the prayer. We were holding hands; her grips was so tight. It made me proud to see her with such straight and made me want to be a better example for her.
