A Little Soul With Monstrous Fears - Poem by Shalom Freedman

A little soul with monstrous fears
Teaches lessons
No one need hear.

We need Poets with guts,
And not poltroons like me-
Poets who Believe-
Poets who can Dream.

To write such a poem you clearly do allow yourself openness and vulnerability. You reveal true aspects of pain maybe best by writing. I love the poem (Report) Reply

Take it easy on yourself, Shalom.
I have read some of your poems and I believe I need hear more of your beautiful work. You are not and can't be a poltroon.
