A Lone Star



A lone star in the sky
Looks down upon a girl
Who has loved for long,
In the shadows, it hides
Hoping the girl isn't in love with the Moon.
Her eyes are lost in the darkness,
As she waits for her love to come out.
The girl loves the stars
But will the star ever know?
