A Long Lost Love Poem by Josie.lei. WANG

A Long Lost Love

The past was rosy,
the present’s gray;
Always appears in a passive way.

We loved the clown
We loved the lion;
But for years they all gone.

I knew it’s hard,
But when it’s dark;
Regret floods the empty car.

Drunk and drowned,
Made no sound;
End up in a lonely pond.
