A Long Poem Poem by Nokutenda Mupamombe

A Long Poem

I am lazy and a bit crazy
I have never written a long poem before
My pour is something i do not control
But lately I've been on a roll
I kind of live on one with no toll
Just waiting for your foolishness to be gone
So we can chill and laugh
Within no time you will forget it was once tough
You will understanding why
You had to be destroyed and still try
Marching on, swallowing that premature cry
When we finally get to chill
We will extinguish the need to kill
No war or anything that promotes thrill
Kids, boys and girls circle around me
Triggering a distant memory
Somewhere deep in the Soul territory
I venture there to grant my humanity glory
For pain and for glory
Attain Valour to kill worry
I want this to be long
My pour can be quite strong
I can go on and never go wrong
Perhaps i will talk about my totem
Maybe on a longer poem
