A LOOK-414

How can you be alone
when I am with you,
completely lost in you now and forever

Look inside.
I am there, sipping your tears
and fears, smile and cheers
as mine,
exclusively mine.

Love never sees distance.

Look.
I am with you.
I am within you,
every minute, every second,
living each beat of your heart,
each drop of your silence,
each wave of your smile
as mine,
exclusively mine.

Perhaps that is why...

Feel me
the way I feel you.

Touch me
the way I touch you,
though miles apart we are.

Sense me.
Smell me.

I am the quiet breath
between your thoughts,
behind your back,
to your right,
to your left,
and right in front of you.

Closer than your own heartbeat.

Remove that opaque glass
that never allows you to see me,
to feel me,
and to accept me as I am.

So near,
so close
to your heart.

Look once with love,
and you will discover
I never left.
