A Look Back At Covid. Poem by Denise Bailey

A Look Back At Covid.

Looking through windows to see the ones we love,
missing out holding hands and giving them hugs.

Washing hands and covering our face,
Remembering to stand 2 meters from others to give enough space.

Clapping hands once a week for our NHS workers,
we then all go and order enough toilet rolls to make us into hoarders.

but one thing is for sure as we find strength from with in,
just like Captain Tom
we will never give in.
