Darkness shrouds the light of day
Scaring all good thoughts away
From the sky falls crimson blood
The rivers bulge and rush and flood
A plague now roams the lands once fair
Tainting water, corrupting air
And in the chaos, a thing does dwell
The purest evil from deepest hell.
Standing tall and full of grace
And moving with demonic haste
Every man and child and woman killed
Ripped apart till hearts are stilled
Without mercy, without a soul
It reaches for its final goal
Horror hate and death supreme
Black smoke creates a noxious screen
To block the sunlight from the sky
So every plant on earth shall die
And all the hope is washed away
And darkness takes the place of day.
