A Lost Soul Poem by Kayla Sharpe

A Lost Soul

A soul lost deep within a shattered heart
A heart that has seen more storms than one eye can see
A lost soul that has been torn down
To the point where there is no return
Where to go? but to tears
No one can see what has been done
Except for the Good Lord above
No one to blame
But the faults of one self
To learn right from wrong
To learn to love
To honor and obey
Where to go? but to seek
To seek for a lost soul that has been torn
To mend the broken pieces
A heart that was meant for love
One to care for
Learn to live right
Than to be wrong
Where to go? but to seek the lost soul
That has been waiting all along
For you to come
But see what true love is
A lost soul that has learned to be accepted.
