A Love Beyond Boundaries Poem by Debra DeVeney

A Love Beyond Boundaries

Soul and heart, breaking like waves against rocks.
I've quietly plunged into vast darkness, black-hole
abyss since your abrupt, unseen departure.

Where once lived deep, passionate, forever lasting,
true blue love, now nothing, except silent hollow void.
Dead are sunshine with roses, leaving behind emptiness.

Replacing the beauty, joy, our happy union gave me,
thick gray clouds looming, desperately trying to
engulf all which brightens, brings comfort, helps lift spirits.

God decided he or heaven above needed you more,
whereas us here on Earth could do without. How can
one not understand, way of life, bond, powerful degree.

Long gone, past, present, future eternal euphoric
unexplainable joining, impossible duplication.
Strong emotional binding two people may know.

Sorrow, instead, constant unwanted companion.
Hope lost, floating, sea made from fallen tear-drops.
Searching, badly, frantically, grasping his loving smile.

Finds arms never will hold, support, embrace her.
Lips honey sweet, warm cascading kisses vanished.
Blessed memories, yesterday's world belong, fade fast.
