A Lunatic To His Diary Poem by Pranjal Kumar

A Lunatic To His Diary

"
Once a summer not quite as hot
The wind blew with its might
Raindrops fall to the floor
And thee between I rot
Due to forgiveness and disparity
In this world of segregation and differentiality
I stand still, hold my thoughts to the back
I hold still because there's power I lack
For bringing about a change
Dear this melancholy never will sound the same
Ever again
Until heaven call back
A pretentious prowess of endeavors
Of guilt and of pleasure
Of the catalogue of the disgusting debris
Or the collection of leaned harmony
Still, I go on darling through this world standing and starving
Stumbling and gnarling

Honey, I stand here along the shadow of the world
And I hear pennies and cents shaking and clinking,
I hear the sound sorrow
I hear the god mumbling and giggling
About the days that I did borrow
Thinking time'll pass and it'll not stay the same
But love o' my love I was wrong again.
But this mind of mine that was a shrine to the
Thoughts and losses of mine says
lovely soul I have, I promise you about me
I wish to retent to pay this fee
Mine o' love o' mine you give me thee
The creeppin of heart and the cold fragility
But love remember this that I never did wrong to
Pass my time
I did the way I did to get through
With those who sin and crime
But blood fell tempting not
to me but to God
And isn't he everything but flawed
Oh dear you don't judge me, do you?
You listen to me as I do to them
Them sinners of hell
Then mortals of cruel behavior
Delved inside their pretentious reality
Don't they bother to look around and
Realize it
That it's not true? "
