A Magnificent Miracle Poem by Amgad Samy

A Magnificent Miracle

In a time of sentimental slavery he was an adventurer
Deep oceans could recognize his ship
Wide deserts didn't dare erase his footprints
peaks of mountains were his mutual friends
Nature crowned him a hero of his era
even history kept his weakness in secret
people wondered without knowing his true story
Rumours passed by and dominated their thoughts
Was he a helpless slave one day
or just a stranger who lost his way?
If poetry had a tongue and verses could speak
Would a magnificent miracle be simply announced?
her love unleashed his heart and gave him power
She enchanted his emotions with her charming innocence
his sharp memory couldn't recall his early days
he was born the day he adored her
her impressive existence rewrote his diary
What sort of a man was he before her?
He didn't care about revealing his buried past
As she brought him victoriously to her land of freedom
