A Man Poem by Zawadi Awich

He does not regret his life,
But the choices forced upon him,
By the one dear to him
Though the decisions do not change him,
They move him,
Yet he struggles to stand,
The strong wind blows and lightning strikes,
Calling him to fear,
Still he refuses to fall,
And courageously though in pain,
Rises to face his fate,
Thus a man is known,
For a man is not defined by how tall he stands,
But how he rises after a fall.
