A Man Of Strong Convictions Poem by Reginald Enakadm sanele

A Man Of Strong Convictions

Convincingly they spoke but failed
To convince me to let go of my convictions,
Beliefs drilled in me as tight and deep as a nail.
Convinced I am that no man can ever take that away from me.

They speak
They say words that don't build
Ignored they are as they are not contributing to the success of my Convictions, my beliefs.
I am indeed not confirming their convictions inadequate
But inadequate to the promotion of my conviction.

Different we are and contradictory is the most
Important contributor which will contribute to us
Finding the truth,
Contraptions developed and development speed.
