The Songs, The Sounds, The Harms Poem by Reginald Enakadm sanele

The Songs, The Sounds, The Harms

Shouting over my thoughts
Let them change for the sounds I hear.....
Well the sounds I hear are taking me away from this place.
Maybe now I realize a destiny beyond my thoughts await
I feel in my spirit a calling
I hear in my heart a pounding desire
How did it end up like this? Is it you and me?
Or there's someone I can't see
What do you hear dear friend?

The songs, the sounds, the harms

These words I can not remember but they leave a clean mark on my chest
Its invisibility says I am not here, yet I see
What are these words saying to my being?
What am I thinking I will win?
To serve with all my heart, cover the eyes of flesh
What will this bring?
For as long as I still remember I will not forget
For as long as I am still here I will sing

The songs, the sounds the harms

A hero is on his way
He is living in me and the harms help me release
The heart, the sounds let it be
For I am not that of thee but one of that undiscovered
I am here today but tomorrow I will be gone
The will be a different creature breathing the same air using the same organs and the same red blood.
