A Mind That Once Shined! ! ! ! ! !

A Mind That Once Shined
The cupboards are bare; the old women says
Shoud I dare
Bones Bones of Theirs I Shall Grind
Bones Bones of Theirs I Must Find!
On Theirs I Shall Eat
Meat Meat of Theirs I Must Beat
To Make A Stew
So I Must Get Started In Order ToBrew
Flesh Flesh of Theirs She Has Sought
But For Any Amount Can Not be Brought
As she Eats her Delicious Meal
To Herself she Thinks Now how Could I Have Found A better Deal!
Past her window an Angel flys
To this she says What no Bye Byes!
Hair Hair ofTheirs so long dark and Fair
she Thinks Maybe with Mine I could Share
Finger with a Finger of Theirs she scratches her head as her thoughts Linger
I koow she sways out loud; To my Singer My prized Singer!
Ears with Ears of Theirs she thinks I know I’ll Show my peers
On a sting I will bring
Skin with Skin of Theirs she has sewn in o rder to Wear
For only she would Da re! ! ! !
Dressed and looking in the Mirror its time for the test
She says to herself; By far my Sundays Best
and off to the party; of course for Iam the Honored Guest!
Oh Mother Goose on what have you Dined
How once you so BrightlyShined!
For Heavens sake what has happened to your Mind
MY MY MOTHER GOOSE HOW COULD WE
EVER SET YOU LOOSE
