A Moment In Time Poem by Teasia Ruffin

A Moment In Time

My thoughts are sometimes to crunch,
Sometimes life seems too much.
Whenever I sit and wonder,
Clouds roll over and it begins to thunder.
Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry,
Sometimes I'm wishiing to live,
And sometimes I'm wishing to die.
Most of the time I refuse to be beat,
Other times I'm welcoming defeat.
Most nights I sit awake and stare,
Other nights I just don't care.
Most of the time I have solutions,
This time I'm wondering in delusion.
Will I ever be set free from this unknown pain,
Or will my life end still unclaimed.
My whole life I've been comfortable in this confusion,
But today I am hoping for a resolution.
