A Moment In Time Poem by Todd Michael Cusato-Millar

A Moment In Time

I stand on the shore though my feet never touch the ground
As the waves come crashing to the shore but never make a sound
The waves gently touch the sand then return back to the sea
somehow finally knowing they have met their destiny
The porpoise walks on water as I stare into a crystal moon
I'm savoring every moment for I know I must be leaving soon
I see my reflection in the waters I feel a gentle breeze on my face
as I watch a shooting star run its final race
