A Moment Of Laughter Poem by Sameer Daniel Gardner

A Moment Of Laughter

There’s so much music in a moment of laughter,
The symphony continues in the silence after.
It’s greater still, when I’m the conductor or the cause,
I feel like a showman enjoying genuine applause.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is one of the many poems written for the poetry writing month. An exercise we participated in at my college. We wrote a poem a day for the entire month. I'll always be grateful to my professor Dr. Dasgupta for bringing me back onto my poetic path after I had strayed away for quite sometime.
