She's the person you come home too
She's the person to comfort you
Her smile so warm and sure
and with her hardworking heart
She keeps the family together and whole
She's the person to encourage you
to help you
to be there for you.
She's there to pick you up off the ground
She is the person you will miss
She is the person who wipes away your tears
and embarrasses you over the years
and she is the mother you say happy mother's day too
I love you mom
