A Motherly Hope [bring Back Our Girls]

Rating: 5.0

she was here- she is here still,
in this house- her home of comfort

I watched her eat
I watched her play
I watched her grow
I watched her sing- like I watch her now...

when you sleep the night,
her eyes knows no sleep

each night, she sings with others;
their warm tears with them- their only warmth in the cold of night

her voice towers above others';
holding each night's sleeplessness- our sleeplessness
with her panic-stricken breath of hope

would she breathe her last
in this evil forest of terror?

no she won't!
she will come back home-
others with her,
she will play again
I will watch her play
as I watched her then

as I watch her-
even now...
