A Name Poem by Kenebo Rajkumar

A Name

Unknowing meaning of a name
Only a solitary name, I lost in it
Neither it is from village nor city
I spell, I read, I dictate, I call
I follow, I obey, I admire, and I fix on it.
I had forgotten all names
For my kinships, friends and parents
There is nothing inside my brain.
No word utters from my mouth
A blank past and an empty future
I do speak and remember a name.
Life runs, enjoys, plays unlike fading,
Life displays itself among spring petals
Life is singing repeatedly - A name
Yet, here memory could find only a solitary name.
Why don't have other names to me?
Why do I fly moments to months?
Why do I carry only this commemoration?
What does it happen to me?
A name - not a name of the creator:
My mind does pray and worship
More sincerer than to a god
Though why I lost in it?
When the January rain comes in eve
When the pink flowers blooms
When the moon dazzling alone above the sky
When I shade my tears
When I celebrate my smiles
Only I call a name.
A solitary name, I solitude with this
It would be genius on my fate.
People deny on their gateway
I ignore through my friendless madness
Still I careless and no risk for other name
I had forgotten all names.
Peace had come and went off,
Colored in my days and remains black
Held sky and ocean on my chest
I fired, I dried, and I collapsed,
Till this moment, I don't memorize all.
Even I'm not able to evoke own name
A name - my world has attached on it.
I do call now only it and it.
