*A New Dawn*
Silence suffused with howling of the heart,
Dreary nights incessant and dark.
Why am i sequestered, deserted and left behind?
For, that man made me scrumple,
Left me frowning and feeble.
So pensive my days are, evenings are so long.
Disguised solace of society, makes me forlorn.
Such marks of woe, I have never seen
Should I trust on healing, that time can?
Or let the society treat me as profane?
Do people really console me to come out?
For their words sound as if annals of doom.
Every time I feel on me, their wicked eyes,
As if a daughter without sire.
Let's break that long silence, Oh femininity!
And shout without shame 'Yes, I was raped'
For the nasty sinner should be punished,
With your resurrection.
Shut the gates of mercy on you,
For you are empowered.
Raise up, Oh femininity! Let's shut sultry shouts.
Let's time to Allay,
Not you dear lady, but the outworn society.
And shout without shame 'Yes, I was raped'
To scatter the silver dew and to bring a new
dawn.
