A New Day - Poem by Emil Hoch

Each morning as the sun
Seems to rise from the ground
The world wakes up
And comes alive with sound
As the dawn begins to brighten
Into a full fledged day
Life comes from the shadows
To express its untold delight
And, I spring up from my slumber,
Look out the window and marvel
At the spectacular beauty
Which God has brought forth from the night.
