A New Rap Age - Poem by Lifeless Blanket
I hate gangsta rap, I just like to rhyme.
I'm a poet at heart so let me take my time.
Most talk about 'paper' but why not politics.
The people of today want a variety of topics.
I call for a new rap age.
One where all the artists don't claim the same wage.
Where I can hear about a realistic day.
Not one where it rains money and we all get paid.
You can call me hater of the so called 'game'.
But all I'm asking for is a little change.
So here me again, so we'll be on the same page.
I call for the new rap age.
