A Night On The Town - Poem by Clay Kohut

I tend to tread alleys
at the dead of night
some times I see rapists
sometimes a gang fight

sometimes I'll see hookers
sometimes Ill see trash
twice I've seen junkies
enjoying their stash

sometimes I'll just sit
enjoying the show
for the homeless stop smelling
when frozen in snow.
