A Part Of Me - Poem by Heather Rhoden

How will I go on?
Go on when you leave?
You are my life.
You are the air I need.
How will I survive?
Survive without you?
You are my life.

How will I live?
Live when you are not here?
You are my soul.
You are the shield against my fears.
How will I vanquish the cold?
The cold when you begin to fade?
You are my soul.

How will I carry on?
Carry on when you no longer feel?
You are a part of me.
You make my dreams real.
How will I breathe?
Breathe when you disappear?
You are a part of me.
