A Perfect Bliss Poem by WENDELL A. BROWN

A Perfect Bliss

The midnight stars gently embrace the moon
While the darkness softly caresses the sky
The wind cried out aloud in its loneliness
While peaceful sleep slowly envelop my eyes

And vibrant dreams gave birth to a new life
Where captive visions unleashed became free
To bathe in the brown deepness of your eyes
As dreams of you, helped me sleep peacefully

I need not reach out my hands to touch you
Because my love you lay sleeping close by
As a heavenly bliss embraces us from above
Placing a genuine serenity deep down inside

So when we awaken to greet the new morning
Finding the sun's kiss embracing our lips
We will find while we slept throughout the night
His love filled our dreams with a perfect bliss.
