A Phantom Lowliness Poem by Vasily 250

A Phantom Lowliness

Cut in deep
Just a small feel
Nothing as sharp
As the dullest blade
An empty hole
Fill with promises
No matter how much
It still empty
A phantom lowliness
Creeps into your party
Remember it’s just a phantom
You have never looked so lonely
No regrets
And no crowning campaigns
For at the start
Was far enough
A world full of friends
One was never above another
And for ones that tried
You knocked down to the gathered
Some brought you diamonds
Some bought you gold
Some brought you kindness
All comers were let go
Now you weep
At your so called plague
But you had the medicine
To make it go away
Out came the stars
To shine through you window
But when the saw the sight
They started to tremble
As they fell
You wish upon a star
The wish was granted
You just didn’t accept
Pity your heart
Pity your soul
Pity your lovers
Who have nowhere to go?
For them you’re their curse
The powers tried so hard
But no power could break through
Not even your fallen stars
So bring me cannon
Bring me C4
If i don’t break through
I won’t be here anymore
I will float on
To are night sky
And be your fallen star
Just waiting to die
