Well, I guess this is where I start.
Full of disappointment and… a broken heart.
The feeling of darkness envelops me like a strafe jacket hug.
I have climbed and climbed to reach the pinnacle of your heart.
Just to fall without a line, a safety net… A…. A hand to pull me back.

It is not easy when every step you take, reminds you, of a past mistake.
Growth, is the shortcoming of these games, these games… I no longer wish to play.

Closing my eyes doesn't help, I can still see you.
It's like the sweet smell of your fragrance never ends.
It's hard to pretend it's not there because it is, enveloped in the air around me like an invisible mist.

A piece of happiness had finally found me, just to dissolve like some twisted alchemy.
Waking up in a cold sweat, your memories, your touch, they… they stick to my skin.

I cannot bring myself to tear down the walls we have built.
The foundation, the memories, the place where my heart still lives.
It makes me wonder why instead, we did not build a bridge.
A connection… that will always live.

Iron sharpens Iron this is the truth. Without it… There is not a use.
We become blunt, and we lose the edge and sharpness that makes us who we are.
A tool that is no longer used, loses purpose, and replaced with a new.
Maintenance… is the only way to keep it in use. It is the only way through.

My heart… has always been worn on my sleeve… For good or bad… Where, you can easily read, what it is you mean to me.

This chapter changes that. I have to reflect… and protect and conquer the demons that fight this brain and heart… alone.
No one… wants to see that pain.
I'm fine… will practically be my first name.

I have to survive, push forward, and… attempt to thrive.
Survival with really only you on my mind.

I can't be my best for you, if… I just sit here searching for clues.
The best me, is… partially you.

Doors open and they close. I will open these new doors, but… keep them open for you.
I will never close the doors behind me, I want to see you and... Just walk right through.
I hope one day the best me, can be a part of the best you.
I live for that moment… That is what gets me through.

I am unwilling to move on… and listen to the voices that surround me.
I will stand by my oath, until… I am no longer standing.
I will wait on the call that may never come to surface.
You will always be a part of my greatest purpose.

I love you regardless of any disasters.
When I look into your eyes, I see my greatest chapters.

This isn't goodbye, it's a… I will see you after.
