A Pinch Of Vermillion Poem by Kumar Mithun

A Pinch Of Vermillion

The brides creep
into the dark labyrinth.
To feed on my roses.
Devour the concealed
petals of white within.
Turn me an imbecile

But stumble upon
the fireflies rendezvousing.
Get caressed by
the seductive
cloth of silk.

They shall find me
nowhere, but in
the abyss of your night.
Beneath the wafting
scent of jasmines.
And the tint of red
adorning your temples.
That blossom on my touch.

They save me from
those hungry demons.
