A Place Called Hell

A Place Called Hell
Hidden in darkness for sinners to dwell.
Far, faraway is a place called hell.
God may have intentionally hid hell's location.
But gave: who, why… Per 20: 10 Revelation.
A destiny filled with evil human flesh,
Where sparks and hot embers relentlessly thresh.
Where heat and the fire shall never quench
With zilch water for fire to drench.
True, we have one life to live, that's no mystery;
Then after that it's straight to the cemetery,
Or, as some prefer, a furnace's crematory,
Either way - the body finally turns powdery,
Which is okay - just a matter of preference.
Soon to be with allies at their new residence.
Hell is certainly a real place since its conception.
It was designed for Satan and his collection.
Then the spirit, which is all that's left of you;
Like chap.25: v.46, says in Book of Mathew,
Enters one of its two pre-appointed avenues
For judgment per twenty-seven 9: Hebrews.
It's just something grandma taught me and you
That we never forgot - the older we grew.
Now, there's too many that no doubt conclude
A loving God would sentence many a good dude
To burn forever following their post funeral pall,
Just because names not on St. Peter's roll-call.
But those baleful rogue's thinking is all wrong
Which their Saved friends told them all along!
"Resist the devil and he'll flee from you."
(James 4: 7,8) And trust Jesus for life anew.
Our final hour is approaching its last date;
So, wake up, there's no time left to wait,
As can be seen with the doleful passing
Of family, classmates and friends dying.
Hopefully gone to the sweet by and by,
But, the other place some'll dreadfully occupy!
So right now better make up your mind,
Once in hell, ‘tis too late to change your mind!
