A Place For Lonely People
This earth is not congenial,
A place for lonely people.
Seven billion plus of us
And most of us oblivious.
Don't realize we are spirits kindred
That we are all connected
Invisibly.
If we realize that only,
We won't be lonely.
Meanwhile we keep looking
In a search enduring,
For intelligent life close,
Elsewhere in the cosmos.
