A Place-Less Place Poem by Bancroft Boreland

A Place-Less Place

Rating: 3.5

My tears make an unseen road
And my will to live slowly begins to erode
As I wonder about in this place-less place
There is no one to help me, no signs to follow
Here there is no yesterday, no today
And no tomorrow
Here darkness is the only light
The day is the same colour as the night
Here I cannot hear my thoughts
Because the silence is so loud
My heart sweats in this cold climate of fear
I try to recall how I got here
But I have forgotten how to remember

Is there a way to build a bridge
Across the river of time
So that I may return to reality
Why did this happen to me?
Will someone, anyone help me?
