Lord, have mercy on me,
Forgive all my wickedness.
Cover me with your love and kindness.
For you are compassionate and good, God Almighty.

I have known my sins,
And in my mind, it always remains.
Please Lord, cleanse my sins.
Give me a sustaining strength, so I could begin.

Begin life with a joyful heart,
To start doing what is right.
Lead me to the right path,
And be my light.

Your love is steadfast,
Your words always last,
And from your word I'll never depart,
And I'll always cling tightly to you oh God.
