A Poem For A Friend - Poem by Richard C. Belsky
To go full score and never fear
is not the quest to be;
To go full score and keeps one's dreams
is true identity;
For nothing that is here and now
is ever here or there;
All truth is knowing that you've touched -
it reaches everywhere.
It can't be set in concrete terms
our urban cities cry,
Nor in the rural open space, for those who see,
of heightened countryside;
It is neither halfway, in between,
or crying from without;
It is passing on and holding tight
and never fearing doubt.
For each of us is quite unique
and this must be the key -
To be oneself and to forgive:
for all - Eternity.
